Notifications in SHC

There are a total of 3 types of notification methods you can choose in SHC. Email, Personal Conversation and Inline Notification. You can choose to get notified on many things, such as on "Topics & Posts", "Status Updates", "Profiles & Friends", "Private Messages" and Other Notifications.

Types of Notification Methods
  • Email notifications - SHC would be just send you an email based on which notification you wish to receive. You can choose this option if you seldom online.
  • Personal Conversation - You would be notify via a pm, you would only get notify if you are online.
  • Inline Notification - Choose this option if you wish to just get a small notification on the top menu, but you must be online to receive it. Recommended for active members.

How to set up notifications?
First, you would need to go to "My Settings" which is accessible via your top menu.

Secondly, you would need to click on "Notification Options" on the side bar menu.

Lastly, just selection which Method you wished to be notified.
