Unbelievable Hamster runs Dog Agility!

Don't own a dog? Train your hamster to behave like one. The obstacle course consists of 5 hurdles, a see-saw, an up-down weave, a hoop and a collapsed tunnel. Watch as my hamster goes through the whole course. It's something that I've been working on for quite awhile now. Enjoy!

This training was done by one of our member - Hamstertrainer. The method of training is through this method called backchaining, where you start training from the end. In this case, start from the collapsed tunnel and slowly string up the rest of the obstacles.

The theory behind is using the Operant conditioning which is the use of consequences to modify the occurrence and form of behavior.
